This is a couple-to-couple approach to marriage preparation that supplements the preparation the engaged couple completes with the priest or deacon. A husband and wife become sponsors for a couple engaged to be married. Together they examine the effects that family, communication, marriage as covenant, and intimacy have on their relationship with God, each other, and their families of origin. You are welcome to join this ministry at any time. The time commitment is approximately 2 hours of initial training provided at Holy Family, and then you and your spouse would be assigned an engaged couple to sponsor. We try to ask each of our sponsor couples to sponsor one couple per year (usually with four 1-hour sessions).
